I recently came across a church-related training web site: http://noba.e-quip.net/ and found it fascinating. It is incredibly easy to navigate, combines audio, video, and text, and has the potential to be a bang-up one-stop shop. It needs a higher level of production quality but it is a great first start. Kudos to the developers.

For anyone who has been living under a rock the last couple years, Web 2.0 is The Latest Big Thing. But what is it exactly?

Wikipedia has a nice article here but even more instructive, because we can see it as well as read about it, is Dr. Michael Wesch’s presentations. He takes an anthropologist’s view.

First of all is his quickie overview:

But for an even better presentation is his “anthropological introduction to YouTube” which needs to be watched a few times to catch the implications.
